How to Prepare your Lid
Your lid should arrive with us fully stripped down, with all parts which can be removed having been done so. This includes the face cage, interior pads, the screw chin strap attachment points, the rubber grommets/rings (on some models). You can leave old decals (if you want to!), manufacturer stickers and internal velcro strips.
How Long Does it Take
We aim to wrap and ship your lid back to you within 72 hours of receiving it. So we almost all but guarantee if you send us your helmet to arrive to us on Tuesday or Wednesday you’ll have it back for that same weekend.
How much Does it Cost?
Most of our colours are £37 which includes the next day, tracked Royal Mail shipping back to you. Some colours are made solely by a single brand and unfortunately carry a slight. Carbon fibre wraps are £5 more expensive and other colours and finishes are available on request, such as custom prints and matte metallic looks. Please note we currently DO NOT offer chrome, reflective finishes. The cost of the vinyl is prohibitive to do so (around £150 per sqaure metre!).
What an ASAP Wrap is not
An ASAP Wrap is not a factory standard finish when compared to a professional spray job, or how your helmet is first made by the manufacturer. Each helmet model is different and poses challenges to being wrapped, for example deep channels will can lift slightly (for example on the back of the neck of a Speed) and on most models when looked at up close some of the original shell might be visible in the vents or around the ear holes. These imperfections are usually unavoidable, very minor and in the context of what the helmet is used for and how it’s viewed makes zero practical or even aesthetic difference.
